Job Description:
Web Developer / Webmaster
Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Primary role of this intermediate position will be to provide support to
the internal company departments (clients) in content management and
development of internal and external web applications. The Web Developer
will play crucial role in maintaining web content and implementing new
requirements, while suggesting viable solutions in a technically highly
competent manner. The position requires exceptional written and verbal
communication skills, and the ability to function as part of a fast-paced
web development team abroad.

Responsibilities
· Work with internal clients to keep the web site content up to date
and implement new requirements (basic to intermediate level of
programming).
· Work within the software development department to ensure
adherence to the internally adopted development technologies, standards
and procedures.
· Leverage personal software engineering and web design expertise to
propose new technologies and solutions.
· Assist in application design, as well as physical and logical
database design.
· Communicate effectively with all levels of management and
developers to ensure timely and effective completion of required features.
· Work with little or no supervision.
· Report development status in accurate and timely manner.
Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
and/or five years of equivalent work experience.
· Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, Ajax, Web Services / SOAP, XML, SQL
Server, and related Windows-based technologies.
· Demonstrated proficiency in development and design of web-based
applications, especially user interface design, and familiarity with
middle and data tiers.
· Good knowledge of networking principles, TCP/IP and network
security highly desirable.
· Exposure to desktop technologies and development environment a plus.
· Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to research and present ideas in user-friendly language, and to share knowledge with peers.
· Analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Effective prioritization of tasks in a high-pressure environment.
· Exceptionally strong customer service orientation.
